私の祖国は、幼い時に聞いて育った日本の歌の中にあります。

日本に数年しか住んだことのない私にとって、「日本の歌」はいつでも

日本を近くに感じさせてくれました。口ずさむたびに懐かしい思い出や風景が広がり、

旋律の流れに乗って情緒あふれる歌詞の美しさが聞こえてきます。

時を超えて心の中に甘い郷愁がよみがえってくるのです。

このCDで多くの方々と喜びを共にできれば幸せに思います。

In these Japanese melodies lies my homeland.

They are the songs of my childhood.

Although I only lived in Japan for a few years, my heart is still there,

and these melodies have never ceased to bring Japan close to me.

When I hum these songs, I see the sunset

and the landscape, and sweet reminiscence and nostalgia fill my heart.

It is with great pleasure that I may share these beautiful melodies of Japan with you.

この録音はオランダの片田舎にある17 世紀の小さな教会で行われました。 CDから時々聞こえる鳥の声は全て教会の周りの天空からの歌声でした。

このアルバムの中のいくつかの編曲はMasumi Editionから出版されています。

This recording was made in a 17th century church in a little village in the Netherlands. All the heavenly singing of birds you hear in this recording were heard from the beautiful surrounding of this church.
